Episode 11: NFL Draft. Spooky Oklahoma. Spooky Appalachia? You know you love Buttrock.

On this episode of The Choctaw Bros. We finish our NFL mock draft series. We realize the NFL draft has come and gone and the UFL season is well underway so we hope you still enjoy that content. We letter grade 1 overall picks in the NFL draft for the past several years. It varies wildly too in how some of the selections have turned out or how we guess they are projecting in their careers.
 
We get spooky again in in Haunted Oklahoma and discuss what we think these Pale Crawler sightings could be. Then we start our new series where we go on a bit of an adventure in history and folklore as we start talking about the Appalachian Mountains. While we only just scratch the surface in Appalachian folklore, cryptos and superstitions, this is a exciting subject we will be revisiting in the coming episodes. 
 
Then we talk about whether or not Nickelback was actually that bad. We talk about their hits and if we actually enjoyed them. We also discuss some other bands from that scene.
 
Finally we close out disclosing some things we would bring back from the 2000’s or early 2010’s.

The Choctaw Bros: Bigfoot Journey

Halito! Hello!  On this special episode of The Choctaw Bros, we begin our dive into what we will call our “Bigfoot Journey”. We attended a very special event “Campfires and Bigfoot: A Deep Dive Into Native Connections” put on by The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Wheelock Academy Historic Site. We met and heard from Troy Hudson of Native Oklahoma Bigfoot Research Organization. The beautiful historic backdrop of Wheelock Academy paired with the cool temperatures, and roaring bonfire made for a very splendid evening learning about Bigfoot. We look forward to revisiting this subject in the future.
